I had a decent experience at Sleep Inn during the Mardi Gras parade weekend. The staff was really attentive and made the stay pleasant, plus the location was great with easy access to the interstate and nearby restaurants. However, the room had its quirks with the TV setup and the breakfast was just average. The noise levels were a concern at times, especially with kids running around, but overall, it's a reasonable option if you're willing to pay a bit more.
